Bahama House News
 Bahama House At-a-Glance - Posted: 31-Oct-06

Caribbean Charm Lush landscaping, vibrant tropical colors and salty breezes characterize the classic Caribbean charm of this boutique hotel, inside and out. Brilliant hibiscus, stunning birds-of-paradise flowers, soaring palms and giant philodendron grace the numerous outdoor planting areas and winding pathways. Throughout the interior, commissioned paintings by local artist Sandy Lloyd portray lush tropical scenes and are the backdrop to the casual yet elegant theme of the property.

At the Bahama House, the Caribbean influences are bold and brilliant, yet blended to create an atmosphere that is both gentle and relaxing.

Island Setting Daytona Beach Shores, Florida

Located just south of Daytona Beach’s bustling center, the 10-story resort rests along a quiet stretch of world famous Atlantic coastline. The hard-packed sands provide the perfect conditions for long leisurely walks, energetic activities and exciting beach play.

Grand Entrance Arriving under a Porte cache of rich cypress, guests can immediately appreciate the uniqueness of the Bahama House. The relaxing Caribbean style of the recently renovated reception area and lobby features plantation lazy chairs, high back lounge chairs, and – a modern day centerpiece – 50 inch wall-mounted plasma screen TV. Bright floral fabrics and tropical artwork compliment the dark tropical tones of the updated wood and rattan furniture, creating a serene and comfortable area to gather for conversation or to enjoy a quiet moment with a good book.
